For yet another year, the Spanish Lighting Committee (CEI) is holding one of the most important events of the year, the National Lighting Symposium in Pamplona from 8 to 10 May, where the success of participation and the quality of the presentations is always present.
In the Symposium we can find presentations in the scientific, training, legislative, control systems, efficiency, success stories... always limited to the field of lighting. For this reason, Salvi Lighting will be present at the Symposium presenting three papers.
Our Project Manager, Francisco Cavaller, will present the characteristics and requirements demanded in large infrastructure projects (civil, sports, industrial, ...). He will analyse the most influential factors: technical rigour, the professionals involved, the results and the longevity of the installation.
On the other hand, the celebration of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar has meant a great deal of excitement and investment in this small but rich country. Architects, engineers and designers from all over the world have received commissions for the new projects of the great infrastructures to be built for this world event. Our CEO, Javier Elizalde, will tell us the details of one of these projects, the lighting in the new Al Wakrah stadium. From the architectural and spatial design of the venue, the technical and conceptual specifications of the lighting, the formal and technological proposals, the whole process of design, discussion and calculation of the solution finally implemented is presented in this work.
And finally, our head of Smartec, Sergio Garrido, explains how technological and communication advances are offering population centres the possibility of improving the management of public and private services and even adding and improving existing ones. This great opportunity has generated the appearance of different communication technologies, languages, hardware, etc., which generates concern and insecurity in the very cities that could apply this advanced management of citizen services.
Sergio will analyse the different management options, communication protocols and the possible interoperability between them.
We look forward to seeing you tomorrow, 8 May, at the CEI National Lighting Symposium.
