Since our beginnings, the light of Barcelona has been the driving force behind our ideas and projects. Contributing to the development of this city, which has seen us born and grow, is a source of pride that drives us to continue innovating. The recently inaugurated section of the tramway on Diagonal, between Plaça de les Glòries and Plaça Verdaguer, represents much more than a new infrastructure: it is a step towards a more sustainable, accessible and humane Barcelona.

In this project, we have collaborated closely to ensure a lighting system that respects the urban identity and enhances the quality of life of the neighbors. Our contribution includes:

• LAN L and LAN N columns for roadways, at 9 and 6.5 meters high respectively.
• LAN S sidewalk columns, designed with the same precision and care.
  

This design, developed by Projectes Urbans (Marta Gabás and Carlos Casamor) and entrusted to Salvi for its industrialization and manufacturing, meets the highest technical and efficiency standards required by the Barcelona City Council.

The redevelopment of the avenue not only improves mobility, connecting Glòries and Verdaguer in just seven minutes, but also reduces environmental impact, eliminating nearly 2,000 cars per day. In addition, this new section benefits some 24,000 commuters a day, with strategic connections to four metro lines and 14 urban and interurban bus lines.

We are proud to have illuminated this new chapter of the Diagonal, demonstrating our commitment to a more sustainable, functional and connected city. Barcelona, your light continues to inspire us.
