Railway boulevard
A total of 550 luminaires have been installed for a first section of the 1450 planned with different sizes of Ø250mm, Ø350mm and Ø450mm, 35 W, 70 W and 150 W metal halide lamps and with special sheet metal support masts of 5.7 m and 8.3 m in height which have also been prepared to support the catenaries of the future tramway which will run along the boulevard.
The light points are distributed by a catenary grid designed to reduce mechanical stresses by forming a white mesh to obtain lighting with the highest possible levels of uniformity. The luminaires also incorporate on-line remote dimming. The catenary cable that holds the luminaires is made of cross-linked polyethylene and incorporates the conductor cables and the fixing cable is made of braided stainless steel.

The Gota luminaire was designed by the prestigious Swiss architects Herzog & De Meuron. Combining its three sizes suspended under a catenary, it provides uniform illumination while giving the place a cheerful and festive atmosphere, inviting people to enjoy these urban spaces.
