Agadir, a mining and tourist city
Between 2020 and 2022 Agadir, a mining and tourist city in the south of Morocco with more than 500 years of history, has undertaken extensive work on energy requalification by redesigning the city's street furniture and lighting.
Thousands of new Avenue Royal luminaires from Salvi Lighting have been installed in the urban area on the main road axis of Mohamed V Avenue to extend to neighbouring roads.
Avenue, reinterpreting the traditional shapes of the hexagonal luminaire, represents an innovation in terms of design, quality of light and environmental sustainability.
The new lighting has provided a modern and harmonious style to the city through a balanced aesthetic. At the same time, Avenue has provided citizens with a pleasant environment in which to enjoy socialising and shopping at any time of day. All this while saving energy and providing pleasant, uniform and comfortable light for the eye.
Agadir and Salvi will continue on this successful path together over the coming months and this experience will be replicated in many other settings in the city.
