Bolognetta, the efficient city
Bolognetta is an Italian town in the province of Palermo, in the region of Sicily, famous for the tourist site of the "San Nicola Waterfalls".
Every year, the European Union finances sustainability and energy requalification projects with the "POR-FESR" programme for the sustainable development of municipalities. The Palermo Department of Energy launched a call for tenders focused on targeted operations to promote eco-efficiency and the reduction of energy consumption in public structures.
Thanks to the cooperation between the municipality of Bolognetta and Salvi, the energy efficiency project with SIL solar luminaires has been realised. This project has been awarded the sustainability project funding (POR-FESR).
